LAURIE EDDIE
Mr Eddie of

the Department of Correctional Services. Now he is a clinical
psychologist.
In 1983 he
joined with
Peter Woolcock (philosopher)
to start the South Australian branch of the Australian Skeptics.
Mr Eddie's

include religion, mythology,
folklore, skepticism and any psychological aspects of the supernatural.
Can a skeptic believe in God? "I
believe
in some sort
of universal intelligence,"
said Mr Eddie. "But I'm not sure whether I'd refer to it as God."
